Creating my own Site - A History of rabele.net

I decided to create this site for a few reasons. Firstly, I wanted to have a small place online that was completely my own to control, customize, and learn. Secondly, I wanted to have a site to share my ideas and projects and to share with potential employers.

I've never given building a website a serious try, so I thought that it would be interesting to document my progress as I continue to learn and develop both this site and myself.

Added an Origami Gallery

Replaced the "picture of the day" with a gallary featuring pictures of a few of my origami creations.

Adding Physics Simulations

Added a new section to host and use a few simple JavaScript-based physics simulations directly in the browser.

Starting Blogs

I started a new section of my site under blogs, adding both a picture of the day and a word of the day.

The Beginning

I've been interested in the idea of making a personal site from scratch for a while and I was finally convinced to give it a try after seeing this video from the YouTube channel Psychcool , using the template that he provided on https://websitetemplate.xyz/ .

I soon modified this template to suite my needs, changing the text and adding some of my own links.
